Reflect on Solitude
We are grateful to Rabbi Dena Shaffer, Executive Director of 4Front Baltimore, who created this source sheet, and for the partnership of the Jewish Teen Funder Collaborative.
While some of us have “others” to face in these times, some of us may be on our own. Through our Jewish wisdom and stories, it can be powerful to explore the difference between appreciating solitude and the opportunities it affords, as well as the dangers of extreme loneliness and isolation.
We invite you to read through the texts below and reflect on your own, or in-person (or virtually) with others.
